HFG was registered as a local NGO in the year 2012. It was championed by the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and supported by local and international private sector corporations in the fight against HIV, gender based violence, and advocate for SRHR among youth in Kenya. Formerly, a project of FHI and PATH, HFG is known for its innovative tools and interventions targeting adolescents and young people in Kenya and beyond. The tools include the iconic G-Pange Brand and the Shuga Package. HFG’s primary target are adolescents and youth aged 10-24 years. Secondary Audience include parents, teachers, the general community. HFG Implements special programs targeting adolescent girls and young women. HFG meaningfully engages young people in the entire Project Cycle management.
