Youth are at the heart of our program.

Youth are our present and future, and the inspiration for our initiatives. They are represented by their involvement in the design, implementation and evaluation of our programs. HIV-Free Generation builds on the motivations and desires of youth by creating a forum where they can share their unique perspectives and insights. Our various youth-focused on-line platforms, including the G-PANGE and Shuga websites offer a space where young people can talk about issues that matter to them, including HIV and AIDS. By promoting dialogue among today’s youth and listening to their input, HIV-Free Generation ensures that its initiatives and interventions are relevant to the challenges that youth face today.

Our youth-focused websites:

www.g-pange.com: Kenya’s youth brand that empowers youth involvement in HIV prevention and the pursuit of healthy lifestyles.

www.jijue.org: Ambitious campaign to mobilize one million Kenyan youth for HIV testing, organized by Kenyan youth themselves while seeking to revolutionize HIV prevention.

www.mtvshuga.com: The hard-hitting drama series that has revolutionized marketing HIV prevention to youth segments and social mobilization of youth.
